H1N1 Clinic FRIDAY

H1N1 Vaccine Clinic

When:  Friday, December 4th

Time:  10 am – 6 pm

Location:  Memorial Hall Gym

Cost:  $19.96, cash, checks and credit cards accepted.

Parking available in C8, located at Memorial Hall. After 4 pm, please use lot C13 due to the city parade staging in C8.  Clinic provided by Intravene Travel Clinic, Lynchburg, VA. This clinic is open to JMU students, faculty, staff, and family members over 12 years old. Community members over 12 are also welcome to attend this clinic. H1N1 Vaccine will be available FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20

10 am – 6 pm
Festival Highlands Room
Cost: $19.96
Cash, Checks, Credit, NO Flex
Faculty, Staff, Students and Family member over 12 years of age

WHO SHOULD GET IT?

  • Pregnant women
  • People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
  • Health care and emergency medical personnel
  • Anyone from 6 months through 24 years of age
  • Anyone from 25 – 64 years of age with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.

Intravene will return to campus on Dec. 4th providing the H1N1 vaccine is available. Check the UHC website for the latest information.

Parking Information

Parking will be available in lots C12 & C11.

Individuals attending the H1N1 clinic should not park in specialty spaces such as Service Vehicle spaces, handicap spaces (without proper permit), or expired meters. They are also prohibited from parking in Fire Lanes.   Individuals with current, valid handicap permits will be permitted to park in handicap spaces in the assigned lots. Parking Services does not have the ability to issue temporary handicap permits to visitors.

Friday, November 13th H1N1 Vaccine Clinic CANCELED

Due to the lack of vaccine, the clinic scheduled for Friday, November 13th is canceled. If the vaccine is available, Intravene Travel Clinic will be here Friday, December 4, 10 am – 6 pm, Memorial Hall Gym. PLEASE check the University Health Center Website for the latest information on vaccine availability prior to attending this clinic.
